What do you Think?

Good morning,

     I've a got a question for you.  We Spring forward this weekend.  Turn your clock ahead one hour Sunday morning at 2AM.  We started this last year in March.  Do you like the earlier time change?  Let me know what you think and we will share your answers on NBC Action News Midday at 11:00am

   Now onto the weather.  Temperatures dropped below 20 degrees again this morning.  That follows the trend this year of more than half our mornings since December 1st being colder than 20 degrees.  Tomorrow looks really cold. We may not reach 30 for a high tomorrow and there is a chance we won't get above 25.  Below is the GFS forecast.

When you turn the clocks ahead this weekend, don't forget to change the battery in your smoke detector.  Have a great day and remember to let me know what you think about the time change.

This was done to save energy according to G. W. Bush; which it did not do.



It only confused a lot of people and cost more in fuel costs for the longer time of darkness in the morning and evenings; which ever happened in the fall and spring.

I hate driving to work in the dark longer in the spring.

I hate driving home in the dark in winter.  I’m used to driving to work in the dark, but I like to have daylight as long as possible in the evening, the whole year!

never like the "spring ahead" time change and the fact that we're getting hosed on our "winter time" stinks even more.  It seems to stay dark for SO LONG in the morning making it harder to wake up and get to work.  It seems like it also has a negative effect during the summer where it can still feel scorchingly hot when you're going to bed at night.

They should have just left well enough alone or, heck, why not just keep the clocks where they are all year long?
