"A vote for Brett is Best!" is our campaign slogan.

(Okay, okay...you can't actually vote for Brett, but this sure was fun. Thanks to Toni in our graphics department for creating the plate for me.)

I voted for option #1, there is about 0.53" of rain very very near (like a block away) from Jhonson County Executive Airport! Is this how much you forecasted? Also is it good or bad the dryslot is coming insoon (if you want big stroms)? Byan.

I recruited Brett to respond. Here's his answer:

Byan,

Hi,  thanks for the non-vote.  The forecast called for about an inch of rain.  Remember today isn't over yet.  More thunderstorms could form this afternoon, especially if the sun comes out.  As for 9:36am, the sun was coming out south of KC near Chanute.  It will rpobably get sunny there so there is a chance for redevelopment.  So far, Olathe has had .8 of an inch, Warrensburg, Missouri is seeing flooding and there was 4.5 inches of rain near Butler Missouri.   If the dry slot comes in sooner, that could be bad if you hate storms, good if you love heavy rain and possible severe weather.
