For anyone who's ever worked close to someone who took a bath in Obsession or Drakkar Noir, this story may hit close to home.
A Detroit city employee is suing the city government because one of her co-workers wears too much perfume. Susan McBride is suing under the Americans with Disabilities Act because, she says, the stinky colleague has left her unable to do her job. McBride says she is unusually sensitive to fragrances.
Not only is the woman's perfume too heavy, she also once brought a scented room deodorizer to the office that made McBride go home sick.
So -- what do you think? Is the lawsuit excessive, or should a worker try to clear the air at the office by any means necessary? Give us your thoughts in the odor-free comments section.
