On Sunday, the Philadelphia Phillies became the first franchise in sports history to lose 10,000 games. It helps, of course, to have played baseball for as long as they have in Philly. Even if the Royals continue to lose 100 games per season, it will still take them until 2075 to record 10,000 losses. However, Phillies fans will always be able to point out that they beat the Royals in the 1980 World Series.
