Kansas City is in a cash crunch. The city is laying off workers and council members are trying to decide the best way to cut the budget. Do we get rid of the zoo? Should we stop filling pot holes? Who is going to pay for the loss? How about charging strippers to strip!
In Dallas, council members are considering forcing strippers to buy a license to take off their clothes. In a WFAA on-line story, one stripper, who wishes to remain anonymous, scoffed at the proposed $100 annual license. “That’s a lap dance in two minutes,” she said.
Just a thought, but isn't it funny the exotic dancer will take her clothes off in front of unknown men, but she wishes to remain anonymous?
News 8 Dallas reports the stripper claims to make about $3,000 in a week, so the permit fee would be pocket change. Houston currently forces strippers to get a license, but I can't find out how much money is made from the fee.
