Gas is not cheap. Even the cheap gas is expensive.

When the price went over the three dollar a gallon mark, I knew gas was never going to be cheap again. I drive a... okay it's an SUV, but I like my SUV, so don't tell me I could be saving gas by getting rid of it. In fact my V8 does about as well as a smaller car in fuel efficiency, and it's paid off, so I am sticking with it. I will consider an eco-friendly car when I replace it, but the wheels are going to have to fall off first.
That said, many of you have been emailing me asking where to find the best bargain gas. Today I went to kansasgasprices.com and found fuel for 3.39 a gallon at a Phillips 66, but it is in Topeka. However, the site is easy to use and I would suggest using to web-site to find the best gas prices in your area. Go to gasbuddy.com for prices in any state.
HyVee also offers cheaper gas with a grocery purchase. You can save anywhere from three to six cents a gallon on gas, depending on your total grocery bill.
