VATICAN CITY - The Vatican is going green. Pope Benedict is the first Pontiff to harness the power of the sun for the world's smallest state.
Solar panels have been installed on the roof of the Paul The 6th Auditorium at the Vatican.
The 1.5 Million dollar panels were a gift from the Bonn-based company "Solar World".
"Solar World" says the panels will generate enough electricity to light and air condition the 6,600 set auditorium.
