Until the swimming is done, that's the schedule. Staring at a swimming pool for two straight days is the equivalent of staring at the sun for ten seconds. Thanks for pointing out character, which can often be overlooked in the quest for the gold.
What are your responsibilities at the aquatic center? Do you watch the competitors from the stands or from a different vantage point--where is the commentary booth located?

-------------------------------------------------------------

Well rags, I'm a liason officer, which means that I make sure that the broadcast media (TV/Radio) is in the right spots at the right times. I try to do all that I can to accomodate the broadcasters in any place I'm needed, but I also have to make sure they don't cross lines that disrupt fellow broadcasters or the athletes. The biggest problem is preventing cameramen from trying to film from places they're not allowed, but after the first ocuple of days, most of them understand policy and don't give me much trouble.

The commentary booth is located everywhere. Depending what station and country a broadcaster represents, they will all be placing their own voices over the host video feed provided by BOB. And Lezak may not be any Michael Phelps in the pool, but the guy provided THE best moment in sports history. Argument on!
