Good early morning bloggers,

There is a light coating of snow/freezing drizzle/snow grains. A band of heavier precipitation has formed and is moving our way, as you can see above. This will produce some heavier sleet/freezing rain mainly near and south of I-35, with lighter precipitation to the north. Accumulation of this mixture will be 1 inch or less today. Then, there is a chance of additional accumulation tonight and Friday as the main storm approaches. We will have a more extensive update after 8 AM this morning.
Be careful as you can get around today, but there have been a lot of accidents. Some people just drive too fast in this. It intimidates the slower drivers and this is what causes the panic and accidents.
