Evening update

Good late evening bloggers,

We have encountered another problem with getting our graphics to the web.  So, the weather page shows a very, very old 7 day forecast.  Here is our 7 day as of 9:30 PM (watch our newscasts for updates):

  • Friday:  76
  • Saturday:  82
  • Sunday:  77
  • Monday:  83
  • Tuesday:  88
  • Wednesday:  85
  • Thursday:  Thunderstorms and 78

The weather pattern is fascinating as we see the cycle continue.  I will go into the LRC on Friday morning.  And, don't forget we announce the winner of the Jr. Meteorologist Contest on our 5 PM newscast Friday.

Gary,

Here in northern Colorado we just cannot seem to catch a break and get some decent moisture.  I personally am sorry to hear we are heading into a 6-10 day dry spell.  Given that we are in the midst of our wettest time of the year, that is the last thing we need and pretty much guarantees us a dry summer!

I am curious to hear your summer weather forecast, and I assume it will include yet another hot, dry, scorching summer for us on the western high plains of Colorado, western Kansas and western Nebraska....

Gary, I would be interested in seeing what encouraged you and your staffers to become so interested in the weather.  We have a lot of bloggers here who are interested in the weather.  We all have different reasons, but I think it would be a very interesting post on a relatively calm weather day.

Not a bad idea.  Ask me again tomorrow, and I will go into it.

Schnikees -- The 7 day forecast freaked me out.  Thank goodness for the blog.

I went in panic mode knowing the work I had scheduled was not going to work for 50's and rainy.

I like the real forecast MUCH better!

Jeff,

It could be a problem through Monday.  Ouch!

So sad...poor IT folks.

I will be interested to see your LRC discussion as I have blogged about a match for late next week's picture.

I am curious if you see/discuss the same thing.

Start watching the 23ish..next Thurs.  There is an analog on this storm.

Woa, the seven day went retro;)ha, ha, ha.!!
WOW, we may make a run at dare I say A/C weather at least briefly, amazing five nights ago we were having 40 m.p.h. winds and wind chills in the thirties and my brothers last week of school is next week!!! You know I think this dry spell in the middle of May is just another way this LRC is saying that it knows no rules!
Sorry to hear about the IT problems, but I guess even in a weather department it gets "stormy" from time to time;) Good night.
