Thunderstorms are likely in the morning

Good evening,

First of all, Congratulations to David Cook of Blue Springs.  He is the American Idol!  Yes, I watched that other network tonight, but how exciting was that!

Thunderstorms will be developing in the morning.  We have special graphics for tonights 10 PM newscast on NBC Action News.  And we will have extensive details on NBC Thursday morning and in the blog.

Have a great night!  But, before you go to bed watch our 10 PM show.

Right now, it appears the rain holds off for your early ride.  It could be close.

Gary when is the fun weather going to come back to KC? You know, sever weather outbreaks, supercells, rotating images on the radar, clouds darker than the darkest of greys, I love that stuff! I miss it!

------------

It should be exciting in the morning.

Gary,

Is Powercast the same model that you had previous to the HD upgrade, but now its just displayed in HD?

Or, did the upgrade to HD also provide an upgrade to the actual weather computer model that you have -- thus more than just turning the display from Standard Definition to HD?

Thanks,
Tim

How *dare* you defect to the.... *other* network.  ...  Just kidding.  I'm guilty as charged myself.

Anyway, I hope the rainy period doesn't last *too* long.  I'm a little sad that Summer might be wetter than normal, but I'd rather have cooler and wetter than uber hot.

Wow, I can't hold a conversation.  XD

Maybe we could just focus on Congradulating David Cook on a fantastic job and leave the network wars out of it. I mean we all watch Gary, isn't that what matters?
