Midnight thunder

Good late Monday night everyone,

A band of heavy thunderstorms, active with lightning is moving across.  There will likely be no severe weather, but just electically active as they drift southeast.  The high humidity with the weak front to our north, and a weak disturbance aloft has helped create this area of thunderstorms.

The forecast for the next two days is quite tricky.  Jeremy Nelson will be tracking the changes to the forecast beginning at 5 AM on NBC Action News Today.

I'm sure waiting for it here!  Looks like the lightning is diminishing and just turning into a rain maker here.  That's just fine with me.  Maybe the kids will sleep through the night!  A nice .25" would be nice right now.
