Refreshing Airmass & Back on Schedule

I hope everyone enjoyed the Olympics over the past 2 weeks!  There was a lot of excitement provided by all the athletes!  But now it is back to normal for our newscasts.  I just want to remind everyone that our newscasts can be seen at the following times:

Morning Show: 5-7 a.m.

Midday Show: 11 a.m. - Noon

Evening Shows: 5, 6, & 10 p.m.

For tonight and Monday night we are looking at very cool conditions with morning lows in the 50s across the viewing area.  Our record low for Tuesday morning is 53 degrees and we may make a run at it here in the city.  So 'free air conditioning' is in store for everyone!

Daytime highs will be around 80 the next couple of days before warmer air returns by next Wednesday and Thursday.

Just a heads up, the video forecast that we post on the web will now be updated a lot more often and we are planning on including some extra stuff besides just the forecast.  What would you like to see in the video portion of the weather page along with the forecast?  Give us some suggestions.

Gary will add his thoughts in the morning.  Thanks for stopping by and making this the best weather blog around!

IDK...maybe show the current standings on subjects such as drought/surplus. Maybe show a historic storm on a givin date if there was one.

I will try to think of something, thats all I can think of now.

Andrew, I am rooting for you, Good luck!!

Yeah..back to normal.  I think they had a disorder named for what you all and we all had to endure for the last two weeks - Olympic Sleep Depravity Disorder or OSDD.

Glad you are back on normal times now.  I will try and check out your vids more often. ********************* The Olympics brought a lot of excitement to our station and really to the entire country. It is good to get back to normal though. Jeremy

Here's to you for the win, Andrew!!!!!  And the rest of us who don't care for intense heat and humidity will be winners also by not having to endure the 90 and + temperatures!  It's a win, win situation!

About the Olympics, I didn't suffer from OSDD because I didn't stay up.  What I missed was getting the best weather forecast on the Midday show.  I had just gotten well programmed for that when the Olympics came along.  It felt like the Olympics was on longer than 2 weeks.  My personal preference is the Winter Olympics, the skiing and the figure skating.
