from my vantage point 7 miles south fo Pleasant Hill, I can see lightning to the southwest, and some very impressive cloud-cloud lightning to the north northwest...OK, now some to the east as well. If the northern storms track the way the other storms this year have done, we'll just get a trace.

no rain in leavenworth so far things are starting to get like crispy bacon up here :(!!! I guess I need to do a rain dance.

FINALLY....I am gonna get some rain. That wind is strong down here. I guess I soaked my sod for nothing huh? Oh well I will take the rain...do we ever need it.

YES!!! IT JUST GOT DONE POURING HERE! I wish JOCO KS would get some of that, I doubt it, but I can keep wishin. My parents have a lovely yard and they are getting too old(sorry mom, I don't think she reads this ;) ) to have to water that whole yard all the time.
